Dallas L. Pineda, DMD
Dr. Pineda has been with Creating Smiles Cosmetic and Family Dentistry for over 6 years. She is an avid artist and enjoys utilizing her artistic skills and technical knowledge to improve her patients' smiles. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Dallas has two fur babies, Gomez and Lucas, that she enjoys snuggling with on the weekend. She also loves traveling, staying active, and reading. Dr. Pineda frequently explores her local food scene by trying new restaurants around the city. Dr. Pineda also enjoys spending her free time with friends and family.
Experience
Dr. Pineda graduated from the University of Missouri with a degree in Biochemistry. After graduation, she headed to Washington, DC, where she was awarded a post-graduate fellowship at the National Institute of Health.
Dr. Pineda is Invisalign treatment and diode laser-certified. She has also completed many hours of continuing education in aesthetic dentistry, such as crowns, veneers, and root canal therapy. Dr. Pineda is an active member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the Illinois State Dental Society (ISDS), and the St. Clair Dental Society.

Meet the doctor
Eric Egan, DMD
Dr. Egan grew up in Aurora, Illinois, and has lived in the St. Louis area since 2015, after graduating from Augustana College with a double major in Neuroscience and Pre-Medicine. Afterward, he continued his education by completing a Doctorate of Dental Medicine at Southern Illinois University, Alton, Illinois.
In his spare time, Dr. Egan enjoys spending time with his family. He also loves traveling to see extended family, playing hockey, and being outdoors as much as possible.
Experience
With a high interest in dental surgery, Dr. Egan pursued a General Practice Residency at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, Illinois, which emphasized emergency dental care including trauma, infection, extractions, and pathology. To further focus his skill set on dental implants, Dr. Egan completed a two-year Dental Implant Fellowship at the Advanced Care Clinic of Southern Illinois University’s Dental School.
Dr. Egan provides multiple surgical services including extractions, wisdom tooth removal, bone grafting single and multiple tooth implants, full mouth dental implants, same-day tooth extraction with implant placement, implant dentures, and periodontal surgeries, including crown lengthening and gm grafting procedures.
